SOCIETY OF AMERICAN MILITARY ENGINEERS (SAME)
Denver Post 2010-2011 Scholarship Program

Application forms are now available for the 2010-2011 Scholarship program. The scholarships are open to high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who meet the following requirements;

• High school seniors must be children of an SAME Denver Post member or currently enrolled in a Jr. ROTC program. All high school applicants must be intending to enroll in engineering or an engineering related curriculum at a four-year college or university.
• Current college students must either be children of a current SAME Denver Post member or currently enrolled in an ROTC program. These applicants must also be pursuing a degree program in engineering or an engineering related field.

For children of SAME members, some preference will be given to students attending or planning to attend Front Range schools, but this is not a requirement.

Applications are due by February 19, 2010 and winners will be announced by March 16, 2010. Scholarship awards will be paid to the educational institution and applied to the 2010-2011 academic year.

Last year our Post awarded six scholarships totaling $5,500.00.
